Altamira Transport Terms of Service

By placing a booking with Altamira Transport, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions. These apply to all bookings made online, over the phone, or in person.
1. General
Altamira Transport is a service provider based in New South Wales (NSW), Australia. We offer pre-booked, fixed-price transfers for groups across the region. These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and services we provide.
2. Service overview
All services are pre-planned and pre-booked for peace of mind.
No shared rides: all transfers are private to your group.
Prices are fixed per job, based on distance and time.
We operate within Greater Sydney, Newcastle, Kiama, Blue Mountains and surrounding NSW areas.
3. Pricing & payments
All prices are listed in AUD and include GST unless otherwise stated.
Quotes are based on location, distance, and vehicle type.
Prices are valid for 7 days unless prepaid.
Payment methods: Credit card, debit card, or cash.
Prepayment may be required for high-demand or special bookings.
Quotes exclude weddings, concerts, funerals, public holidays, major events — surcharges may apply.
4. Booking & cancellation
A 20% non-refundable deposit applies to all bookings.
Changes within 24–4 hours of the booking are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellations within 4 hours will be charged 100% of the booking amount.
If cancelled 4–24 hours prior, the 20% deposit is retained; remaining 80% is refundable.
A 5% processing fee applies to all refunds.
5. Airport & toll inclusions
Domestic pickups include 15 minutes of wait time.
International pickups include up to 30 minutes.
Major toll roads are included; additional tolls or detours requested by passengers will incur extra charges.
6. Vehicle classes & availability
All vehicles are late-model, air-conditioned, and maintained to NSW transport standards.
Vehicle class is determined at the time of booking.
7. Special locations & events
Additional charges may apply for pickups in difficult-to-access or remote areas.
Public holidays, New Year’s Eve, Christmas, and major events may incur higher rates.
Round trips or return bookings are required for certain event-based transfers (e.g. concerts, festivals).
8. Delays, changes & liability
Altamira is not responsible for delays due to traffic, weather, road closures, or unforeseen events.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify a booking with notice if necessary due to operational issues.
Liability is limited to the value of the booking and does not include indirect or consequential losses.
9. Passenger conduct
No smoking or alcohol consumption is allowed in any vehicle.
Aggressive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour will result in termination of service with no refund.
Damage to the vehicle caused by passengers will be charged to the hirer.
10. Luggage & accessibility
Standard luggage allowance: 1 medium bag + 1 carry-on per person.
Additional or oversized luggage must be declared during booking.
We aim to accommodate accessibility needs where possible.
We can provide baby seats and booster seats (please let us know in advance when you book).
11. Animals
Only registered assistance dogs are allowed in vehicles.
Requests for other animals must be made in advance.
12. Refund policy
Refunds are only provided in accordance with our cancellation terms.
All refunds are subject to a 5% processing fee and may take up to 10 business days.
13. Privacy & data
All customer information is collected and stored in accordance with Australian Privacy Laws.
We will never sell or share your data with third parties without your consent.
14. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in NSW.
